Managing Billing
How to manage your subscription, payment methods, and billing information.
Accessing Billing Settings
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click Billing
- View your current plan and usage
Current Plan Information
The billing page shows:
- Current tier - Free or Unlimited
- Billing cycle - Monthly or Annual (if Unlimited)
- Next billing date - When your next charge occurs
- Usage - Current sync counts (Free tier)
Upgrading Your Plan
To Upgrade to Unlimited
- Go to Settings then Billing
- Click Upgrade to Unlimited
- Choose billing frequency:
- Monthly ($30/month)
- Annual ($300/year)
- Enter payment information
- Click Subscribe
What Happens After Upgrade
- Subscription activates immediately
- Any queued syncs begin processing
- Limits no longer apply
- You receive confirmation email
Managing Your Subscription
Accessing Subscription Portal
- Go to Settings then Billing
- Click Manage Subscription
- You'll be taken to the billing portal
In the Billing Portal
You can:
- Update payment method
- View billing history
- Download invoices
- Change billing frequency
- Cancel subscription
Updating Payment Method
Change Credit Card
- Click Manage Subscription
- Go to Payment Methods
- Add new payment method
- Set as default
- Remove old method if desired
Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit cards
Viewing Billing History
Access Invoices
- Click Manage Subscription
- Go to Billing History
- View all past charges
- Download invoices as PDF
Invoice Details
Each invoice shows:
- Date of charge
- Amount
- Plan details
- Payment method used
Changing Billing Frequency
Switch from Monthly to Annual
- Click Manage Subscription
- Update subscription
- Select annual billing
- Difference is prorated
Benefit: Save $60 per year with annual billing.
Switch from Annual to Monthly
- Click Manage Subscription
- Update subscription
- Select monthly billing
- Change takes effect at renewal
Canceling Your Subscription
How to Cancel
- Click Manage Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
- Subscription ends at billing period end
What Happens After Cancellation
- Access continues until period ends
- Then account reverts to Free tier
- Sync limits of 5/5/5/5 apply
- Configuration and history preserved
Reactivating
To reactivate after cancellation:
- Go to Settings then Billing
- Click Upgrade to Unlimited
- Complete subscription process
Billing Issues
Payment Failed
If a payment fails:
- You'll receive email notification
- Update payment method promptly
- Subscription remains active briefly
- Multiple failures may suspend service
Disputed Charges
For billing questions or disputes:
- Review invoice details first
- Contact support with specifics
- Include invoice number and date
Refunds
Refund policy:
- Annual subscriptions: Prorated refund available
- Monthly subscriptions: No refund for current period
- Contact support for special circumstances
Tax Information
Sales Tax
Depending on your location:
- Sales tax may apply to subscription
- Shown on invoice
Tax-Exempt Organizations
If your organization is tax-exempt:
- Contact support
- Provide tax exemption documentation
- We'll update your account
Receipts for Expenses
Getting Receipts
- Click Manage Subscription
- Go to Billing History
- Download invoice PDF
- Use for expense reporting
Company Name on Invoice
To update company name:
- Access billing portal
- Update billing information
- Future invoices reflect change
