Managing Billing

How to manage your subscription, payment methods, and billing information.

Accessing Billing Settings

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar
  2. Click Billing
  3. View your current plan and usage

Current Plan Information

The billing page shows:

  • Current tier - Free or Unlimited
  • Billing cycle - Monthly or Annual (if Unlimited)
  • Next billing date - When your next charge occurs
  • Usage - Current sync counts (Free tier)

Upgrading Your Plan

To Upgrade to Unlimited

  1. Go to Settings then Billing
  2. Click Upgrade to Unlimited
  3. Choose billing frequency:
    • Monthly ($30/month)
    • Annual ($300/year)
  4. Enter payment information
  5. Click Subscribe

What Happens After Upgrade

  • Subscription activates immediately
  • Any queued syncs begin processing
  • Limits no longer apply
  • You receive confirmation email

Managing Your Subscription

Accessing Subscription Portal

  1. Go to Settings then Billing
  2. Click Manage Subscription
  3. You'll be taken to the billing portal

In the Billing Portal

You can:

  • Update payment method
  • View billing history
  • Download invoices
  • Change billing frequency
  • Cancel subscription

Updating Payment Method

Change Credit Card

  1. Click Manage Subscription
  2. Go to Payment Methods
  3. Add new payment method
  4. Set as default
  5. Remove old method if desired

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards

Viewing Billing History

Access Invoices

  1. Click Manage Subscription
  2. Go to Billing History
  3. View all past charges
  4. Download invoices as PDF

Invoice Details

Each invoice shows:

  • Date of charge
  • Amount
  • Plan details
  • Payment method used

Changing Billing Frequency

Switch from Monthly to Annual

  1. Click Manage Subscription
  2. Update subscription
  3. Select annual billing
  4. Difference is prorated

Benefit: Save $60 per year with annual billing.

Switch from Annual to Monthly

  1. Click Manage Subscription
  2. Update subscription
  3. Select monthly billing
  4. Change takes effect at renewal

Canceling Your Subscription

How to Cancel

  1. Click Manage Subscription
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation
  4. Subscription ends at billing period end

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Access continues until period ends
  • Then account reverts to Free tier
  • Sync limits of 5/5/5/5 apply
  • Configuration and history preserved

Reactivating

To reactivate after cancellation:

  1. Go to Settings then Billing
  2. Click Upgrade to Unlimited
  3. Complete subscription process

Billing Issues

Payment Failed

If a payment fails:

  • You'll receive email notification
  • Update payment method promptly
  • Subscription remains active briefly
  • Multiple failures may suspend service

Disputed Charges

For billing questions or disputes:

  1. Review invoice details first
  2. Contact support with specifics
  3. Include invoice number and date

Refunds

Refund policy:

  • Annual subscriptions: Prorated refund available
  • Monthly subscriptions: No refund for current period
  • Contact support for special circumstances

Tax Information

Sales Tax

Depending on your location:

  • Sales tax may apply to subscription
  • Shown on invoice

Tax-Exempt Organizations

If your organization is tax-exempt:

  1. Contact support
  2. Provide tax exemption documentation
  3. We'll update your account

Receipts for Expenses

Getting Receipts

  1. Click Manage Subscription
  2. Go to Billing History
  3. Download invoice PDF
  4. Use for expense reporting

Company Name on Invoice

To update company name:

  1. Access billing portal
  2. Update billing information
  3. Future invoices reflect change
